How to Make Broccoli with Onion and Garlic
1.Wash the broccoli thoroughly in cold salted water.
2.Cook it in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain.
3.Heat the vegetable oil in a wok and or large heavy-based pan.
4.Add the chicken, if using and fry for 5-6 minutes till it becomes opaque.
5.Tip in the onion and stir-fry for a minute. Tip in the garlic, chilli, and broccoli and saute over a medium heat for 5 minutes.
6.Stir in the ginger and peanuts. Add the soy sauce, black pepper, sugar and sesame oil (if using)
7.Mix well and serve the broccoli with noodles.
